Do I Need A GP Referral For Any Of Your Services?

No you don’t need a GP referral. However if you have one, you can bring us a copy of the referral letter with relevant details, and/or the written report of any X-ray or MRI that related to any injuries.
What Do I Wear To My Appointment?
Depending on where your injury or issue is located, the clinician may ask you to remove some clothing. It’s important that you are comfortable but also that the physio can see the area well. We advise you to come with shorts if it is an issue with your lower back, hips or legs and perhaps a singlet/vest if the issue is in your back, shoulders, neck or arms.
Where Can I Get A Receipt After Paying Online?
You will automatically receive an email receipt from our software system.Â
Please note that this receipt that can be submitted to your insurer; if your receipt from online booking and payment is not proof of attendance and cannot be submitted, please let us know and we can provide you with a separate receipt.
Why Do I Have To Pay In Advance?
Will I Be Charged For A Late Cancellation?
We operate a strict 24 notice policy when cancelling or rebooking an appointment. You will be charged 50% of the appointment amount if your changes fall within this period.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
Payment is taken upon booking with our online system, and not upon completion of your appointment.
During the COVID-19 outbreak, we are requesting payment for all appointments in advance. This is part of our infection control policy and is in place for the protection of our patients and clinical team to minimise touch points within our clinics.
If you are paying at the time of appointment in the clinic and you do not have a debit or credit card, please let our team know on booking who will alert the clinician that a cash payment will need to take place.
Booking confirmation emails and reminder emails are sent as a courtesy to all our patients. To cancel or reschedule an appointment without incurring a charge, we require at least 24 hours’ notice. Anything within this 24 hour window is liable to a cancellation fee of 50% of the appointment fee. If you fail to attend an appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, your payment can not be refunded.
How Can I Provide Feedback?
Do you work with private health insurance? Can I claim tax back?
We appreciate all of your feedback, positive or negative, as it encourages us to continue our efforts on your behalf. You can make your views known directly to those involved, or by contacting our central team; this can be done verbally by calling us on (083) 0113184 or in writing on info@deasyphysiotherapy.ie
Fees for physiotherapy qualify for a refund under most Insurance schemes including VHI, LAYA HEALTH CARE and IRISH LIFE HEALTH.
Tax Relief is not allowable where the treatment is on the basis of self-referral. Tax Relief is given at rate of 20% and it is after any refunds from health insurers. You can go back 4 years.
